Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746–1827) was a Swiss educator and a pioneer of modern child-centered pedagogy.
Although Pestalozzi never used photography himself, his educational principles later shaped its use in teaching, encouraging learning through experience and direct observation.
Pestalozzi stereo cards offered series depicting landscapes, trades, and skills intended for educating young students.
