Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746–1827) was a Swiss educator, a pioneer of modern education, known for his child-centered teaching methods.
Although Pestalozzi himself did not use photography, his educational principles later influenced its use in teaching, encouraging learning through experience and direct observation.
Pestalozzi stereo cards feature series depicting landscapes, trades, and skills intended for the education of young students.
