Harald Johan Caspar Paetz was a Danish actor and photographer, married to actress Julie Paetz. The son of the painter Peter Felix Paetz (1810-1890), he married Juliane Smith on April 29, 1864. An actor at the Royal Theatre, he left in the summer of 1865, followed by his wife. He then earned his living as a photographer and became photographer to the Royal Court, a position he held until his death in 1895. He also became a book illustrator, especially for plays and children's books.
